V. Chandrasekaran has more than three decades of experience in Life Insurance, Housing Finance and Mutual Fund investment at Life Insurance Corporation of India. His key competencies include Treasury functions in equity, debt and money markets, investment strategies and analysis, credit review and monitoring and project finance.

His most recent role was Executive Director (Investment Operations) and Executive Director (Investment Research & Risk Management) at LIC. Prior to that, he was CIO (Debt) at LIC Nomura Mutual Fund and General Manager (Credit Appraisal) at LIC Housing Finance.

His other directorships include CARE Ratings, LIC HFL AMC, TATA AMC, Aditya Birla Housing Finance among others.

Rosemary Sebastian is a former career central banker with 38 years of professional track record. She was the Executive Director of the Reserve Bank of India in charge of its financial supervision function (NBFCs and Cooperative Banks). During her career she has handled various responsibilities in central banking, regulation and supervision of banking and non banking entities, financial inclusion, consumer protection, public debt management and internal audit among others.

She has been associated with the work and recommendations of important Committees of the Reserve Bank. She has served as the Reserve Bank’s Nominee Director on the Board of a large public sector bank. Ms Rosemary Sebastian is post graduate from Osmania University and has a law degree from Mumbai University.

Mr. Prashant Kumar Ghose has nearly five decades of finance and industry experience, spanning steel, cement, fertilisers, chemicals and consumer sectors. He served Tata Chemicals (TCL) as Executive Director & CFO. He was recognised as CFO of the Year thrice, twice by IMA and once by CNBC TV18. Mr. Ghose has held multiple board positions across India, Europe, North America and Africa, Infinity Retail, Tata Consulting Engineers, Air Asia India and Tata Services. He currently sits on three Indian National Committees of CII and is a member and trustee of the CFO Board. Mr. Ghose is a B. Com (Hons) graduate, a member of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants and the Institute of Company Secretaries, India, and an alumnus of the Advanced International General Management Program of CEDEP, INSEAD. He has attended the Financial Management programme at Wharton School and Strategy at Harvard Business School.

Saurabh Jain has over two decades of experience across diverse sectors such as Private Equity, Healthcare, Consumer Durables and Consulting.

He is the Chief Financial Officer of NIIF. Prior to joining NIIF, he was the Group CFO for Actis, a UK based PE fund with an AUM of ~ USD 8 billion. He has also worked with Max India Ltd., LG and EY during his career managing accounting and financial operations, business strategy, cost rationalization and product pricing etc.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He holds a Bachelor in Commerce degree from Delhi University and has done his MBA (Executive Program) from Indian School of Business.

Nilesh Shrivastava has an extensive experience of over 24 years in financial services sector investing and working with several banks and NBFCs in India as well as several other South Asian countries. Specifically for infrastructure financing, have been an investor and lender to multiple infrastructure financing companies in India.

He has spent 14 years with International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector investing arm of World Bank Group wherein he also led investments in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. He was also responsible for leading the financial sector investments portfolio of over USD 4 billion in the South Asia market. Prior to joining IFC in 2005, Nilesh worked with HSBC, India in different roles including in corporate and retail banking.

Nilesh Shrivastava holds a bachelor’s in engineering degree from Lucknow University and has done his MBA from IIM, Kolkata.

Virender Pankaj comes with over 30 years of rich experience in the Project, Corporate and Structured Finance. He has been associated with Aseem Infrastructure Finance Limited (AIFL) since inception in FY 2021. In less than 2 years of time, AIFL has established itself as one of the fastest growing infra finance company, with an asset book of more than INR 7,000 Crore, with Green Energy assets contributing to ~45% of the book. The company also achieved a liability position in the market, with more than INR 5000 crores raised for FY 2022.

Prior to joining AIFL, he was associated with L&T Infrastructure Finance Limited and State Bank of India in project finance, project appraisal, working capital, corporate and structured finance. In his previous assignment, he managed an asset book of ~ 50000 Crore in areas of Infrastructure Finance, Structured Corporate Finance and Supply Chain Finance and built a leadership position in green energy financing.

Nisheeth Khare is a Civil Engineer and an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. He has an experience of 18 years in the areas of infrastructure project finance, corporate and structured finance and construction of projects. Prior to joining Aseem Infrastructure Finance, Nisheeth has worked with Continuum Green Energy (Morgan Stanley’s renewable energy platform), L&T Financial Services, Yes Bank, ICICI Bank and TATA Housing. In his previous role, Nisheeth led the corporate finance function encompassing both debt and equity raise. At Continuum, he managed a loan portfolio of ~ Rs. 12,000 Crores which spanned across internationally listed public bonds, international private bond and domestic project finance debt. During his stint of over 8 years with L&T Financial Services, he was a business head in the wholesale finance group where he led a team of ~ 30 professionals and managed an infrastructure project finance asset book of ~ Rs.20,000 Crores.

Nilesh Sampat has about 27 years of experience manning CFO, Treasury and Financial Control Offices across the BFSI space with businesses such as credit- wholesale and retail, capital markets, alternate assets, treasury and life insurance in his previous assignments with Edelweiss Group, Kotak Private Equity and Standard Chartered Bank. He has headed assurance and financial due diligence mandates for large public companies during his work with Deloitte India. Nilesh has been part of senior management and leadership teams at his served organisations. He is a Chartered Accountant from the ICAI.

Bhawin Shah has ~18 years of experience in Infrastructure and infrastructure financing across diverse sectors with institutes like Tata Cleantech, IDFC, Yes bank, DBS and CARE. In his previous assignment at Avaada energy, he assisted the promoters in setting up over 2 gigawatts of solar assets across India. He has headed the Infrastructure Risk roles at various organizations across sectors like renewables, road, and thermal where he has underwritten a large portfolio of over $5 bn dollars. He holds an MBA from SIMSR and IIM Bangalore.

Shishir comes with more than 25 years of rich experience in legal and compliance domain across Banks, NBFCs and AIFs, handling complex matters related to NBFC, Banking, Structured Finance, Alternative Assets Business, Fund, Capital Markets, Project Financing, Real Estate, Stressed Assets, Corporate Lending, high stake complex Litigation matters in Supreme Court, High Courts, NCLT etc. Prior to joining Aseem, he was working as Head Legal of Performing Credit Fund, part of Edelweiss Alternative Assets Business. During his decades of experience, he has worked with various institutions such as IDBI Ltd, IDBI Bank Ltd, IDFC Ltd, Edelweiss NBFC platform and Edelweiss Alternative Asset Business. He has experience of working on various Project Finance transactions in several sectors and led the transactions as Lead Lender. His role included structuring, advising, drafting, negotiation and closure of transactions. He was also closely involved with fund raise activity from various Indian banks as well as offshore institutions such as IFC, ADB and many more. He has also been responsible for setting up internal risk/compliance/control processes and compliance frameworks with respect to the RBI, SEBI, Companies Act, Labour laws etc.

Nidhi Kothari has about 10 years of experience in areas of infrastructure financing, project financing and corporate banking. Prior to joining AIFL, Nidhi has been associated with institutes like IDFC Bank and L&T Infrastructure Finance where she has extensively worked across infra & non-infra sectors including Road Transport, Renewables Energy - Solar and Wind, Transmission, Real Estate and Healthcare. Nidhi has an MBA from FMS, Delhi and a BE in Computer Science Engineering.

Pallavi holds a B.E degree in Computers from Mumbai University and a PGDM in Finance from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. She comes with a cross functional experience largely in the financial sector across various domains viz. debt syndication, project finance, financial modelling, institutional client relationship, credit appraisal, origination & structuring. She is a seasoned banking professional and prior to joining Aseem she was associated with Axis Bank Ltd for a decade and a half. In her last assignment, she was leading the Origination & Structuring team (Infrastructure) in the Debt Syndication vertical in Axis Bank. She has also worked with Bank of Baroda and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. in the past.

Arun Sarathy is a qualified CA and CMA professional with experience of more than 11 years in financial services spanning project and structured finance, credit risk, bid advocacy and syndication. His core expertise includes transportation, renewable energy, transmission, logistics, healthcare, and education.

Prior to joining Aseem, Arun has worked with L&T Finance and Aditya Birla Capital and during his stint has covered west and south markets extensively. He has been involved in the appraisal and monitoring of over ~4GW of renewable projects and has handled portfolio aggregating to INR 64 billion in his earlier assignments.

Ameya holds a PGDM in Management Studies from IIM Indore and a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai University. He has also completed his CFA level 3 certification. Prior to joining Aseem, he was associated with Continuum Green Energy. He has worked in L&T Finance, YES Bank and ICICI Bank in the past. He has worked in Project and Corporate Finance domain across his roles and was also involved in debt and equity related exercises.

Ajinkya is an MBA from NMIMS University and holds a B. E degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from K J Somaiya, Mumbai University. He comes with more than 9 years of experience, largely in Project Finance and Structured Finance with SBI Capital, Yes Bank and IndusInd Bank. He also has engineering experience with Larsen and Toubro.

Jeet holds a Masters Degree in Management Studies (Finance) from Mumbai University (K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research). He comes with an experience largely in wholesale banking with specific focus in the infrastructure space. Prior to joining Aseem, he was associated with Axis Finance Limited. He has also worked with HDFC Bank and L&T Infra Finance in the past.

Abhinav holds a PGDM in Finance and Marketing from Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak and a B.Tech in Information Technology from Indraprastha University, New Delhi. He comes with 7 years of experience, largely in Project Finance with State Bank of India and L&T Infrastructure Finance Co. Ltd

Kashish is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has Cleared CFA Level 1. He comes with experience in Project Financing across infrastructure sector including Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Education, Power. Prior to joining Aseem, he was associated with HDFC Bank Limited. He has also worked with Yes Bank Limited in the past.

Ayushi is a Chartered Accountant and comes with more than 4 years of experience in corporate banking and project financing largely in sectors like power, roads, steel and allied products, paints and organized retail. Prior to joining AIFL, she was associated with IDFC First Bank.

Twinkle is a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary. Prior to Aseem, she was associated with ICICI Bank in the Project Finance team, primarily specialising in funding roads sector projects. In the past she has also worked with PWC in Corporate and International Taxation domain.

Bhavisha is a Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining Aseem, she was associated with Kotak Mahindra Bank. She has also worked with CARE Ratings and Axis Bank in the past.

Rushi is an MBA from Sydenam Institute of Management and has also cleared all three levels of CFA. He comes with 2 years of experience, largely in investment banking focussed on the infrastructure sector. He was previously associated with Centrum Capital Limited.

Ayush Kabra is a Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining Aseem, he was associated with KPMG in Deal Advisory.

Vatsal is a CA and holds an MBA from S P Jain Institute of Management and Research and has also completed two levels of CFA. He comes with experience in Project Finance, Restructuring and Insolvency resolution under IBC. Prior to joining Aseem, he was associated with SBI Capital Markets and Duff & Phelps.

Vaibhav is a Chartered Accountant and has completed his B.Com from Rajasthan University. Prior to joining Aseem, he was associated with ICRA Limited. He has also worked with Ernst & Young in the past.

Mahim has joined Aseem in the Business team. Mahim has done his B.Com from Rajasthan University with specialization in Accounting and Business Statistics. He has recently completed his PGDM in Finance from Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Noida. He is from the PGDM batch of 2021-23 and this is his first full-time corporate assignment. He has done his summer internship at Cube Highways and is keenly interested in the infrastructure sector and aspires to build a career in the same.

Nikita has joined us from the Campus placement drive at IIM Sirmuar from where she holds an MBA degree in Finance. She has a keen interest in Finance and has recently completed her CFA Level 1 exam.

Bhavesh is a Chartered Accountant and holds an M.Com degree from Mumbai University. He has also done a Diploma in International Financial Reporting (IFR) from ACCA (UK). He comes with an experience largely in the field of direct and indirect taxation, finalizing financial statements, statutory audit, compliances, banking operations and fund raising. Naveen is a qualified Company Secretary and holds an LLM degree from Mumbai University. He comes with over 18 years of experience in regulatory compliance, company secretarial, and corporate legal functions. He has worked in various sectors, including NBFCs, Manufacturing and FMCG. In the past, he has been associated with Poonawalla, Piramal, JSW Energy, Marico etc. He has led the Secretarial and Compliance functions in his previous assignments and has extensive experience in convening and conducting Board and Committee meetings, managing various Board related matters and compliances. Vinaya Kshirsagar has joined Aseem as Executive Assistant to the CEO. Prior to Aseem, she was managing the offices of MD/CEOs at L&T Financial Services, NCDEX, and Inlaks Group. She has a total work experience of ~16 years.

Sreedev holds a degree in MBA Finance from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. Before joining Aseem, he was associated with Axis Bank. Manish holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from Punjab Technical University and has also completed MBA in E-Business from Welingkar, Mumbai. He comes with two decades of experience in various capacities across Technology function.
